The 100st Post at the end of 2011

Planned to have a post at the end of year 2011, and while I openned my blog, I found I had written 99 posts, wow, it is so coincidence, I can update my 100st post at the end of 2011. It sounds a good sign. Well, I am sending the last day of year 2011, and greeting the first day of year 2012, by updating the post, waiting to watch the coming fireworks (still have 15minutes to reach 12). I do not celebrate the New Year, as usual, and I just back from my part time work actually. I have to work on 31 December 2011 and 1 January 2012 because of the irresistible allowance. Oops, I love money, I guess everyone do love money too =P

This is my uniform, I have worked at Nikon Center, Times Square. I starting to regret not to take photo on my pink uniform last time, if not I might keep the memory in the photo album instead of my brain memory.

Oops, fireworks are going to start, stop writing now, time to enjoy the beautiful and awesome moment. Bye Bye last day of 2011, and Happy the 100st post of my blog. Cheers... ^^

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas... Oops, I am late. Christmas is passed, sad to say that I did not celebrate it as I had worked as Nikon promoter that time, but the allowance was really too irresistible, so the opportunity cost was to give up the celebration with my lovely best friends. (><)

I thought that my Christmas would just pass without any happening, the end it proved I was wrong. I got many toys as Christmas presents ( as above), and had an expensive dinner for free at Brotzeit, Mid Valley. All of these were treated by our boss, agent of Nikon, Ievent.

This was the Nikon booth during DCIM fair. You might see many toys displayed at the booth. They were just for decoration purpose. And our boss spent around RM5k to buy those toys and gave them to us after end of the fair. All of the promoters were surprised and excited when the boss announced that everyone could took as many as they want. I am really happy and exciting with what I received, I could say that it was my first time to receive so many toys at one time.

We had our dinner celebration at Brotzeit after end of the fair. We had very delicious yet expensive dinner. It was all about germany food. We were served with garden salad, seafood salad, roasted potato, fries, crispy wedges, spicy pork bacon pizza, ham pizza, pork knuckles, Kaiserschmarrn ( german pancakes), white crispy chocolate lava cake, and many more that I could not remember the name. They were so awesome, it was my first time to try the food in germany style. I had tried the germany beer as well, Paulaner. I fancy the mango beer =P The dinner cost our boss RM1k above, our boss is so great!!

My birthday- 2Oct2011

Here, we were, Overtime Setapak, to celebrate my 21st birthday.

It was happy to have so many friends celebrate with me. =)

The beer was mixed with other ingredients.

You might see here,

those ingredients were salt, sambal, chili sauce, plain water, etc.

But after the games, everyone was so high!!! =D

We kept changing the rules of game,

one of them was say cheers to everyone in Overtime. =P

Even the singer there was one of the victims. =)

Everyone can't stop the flow of being high, it was great!!

While the clock shown 12am, my friends had colluded with singers,

they sang birthday songs for me.

And, I had to cross cup with another singer.

It was surprised me with this arrangment.

After that, my loving friends kept singing birthday song for me.

Hope my wishes come true =)

Bukit Kayu Hitam

This is the border toward Thailand.

FYI, the distance from my house to this border only takes 30minutes.

And gosh, this was my first time went to Bukit Kayu Hitam, Thailand.

Is it a bit unbelivable? Most of the residents in Kedah especially who stay near to border will always been there. But me? First time!!

Ridiculously, my brother brought me to there.

We went there without any plan in advance.

Just simply want to take mcdonald as dinner.

To be surprised, my parent did not stop us to go, but gave us the permission.

I started to change my perception to my parent,

they always used to be stricted and over-worried.

We parked our car at the free duty zone, and walked through the border.

My brother asked me whether would I feel panic before I went into Thailand,

I said no, I didn't worry anything.

But, the end, the first impression when I walked into Bukit Kayu Hitam,

I had a bit afraid, it is so different with Malaysia,

Malaysia is better!!

There is a bit crowded, dirty and unsecure.

Maybe it was my first time been there, still have yet to be familiar with it.

I saw elephants loitering on the road.

My brother told me I was luckily,

could meet huge elephant rather than small-sized elephant.

We reached Mcdonald.

I found most of my friends went to Thailand would take photo with Mcdonald's man,

it is a trend I guess. So, I can't missed it too =D

Mcdonald at Bukit Kayu Hitam is clean, perhaps it is still new,

and it seem mismatch with the environment outside.

At least, I felt slightly secure inside there.

To be mentioned here, all of the french fries and drink there were large.

We had tried those non-halal burgers.

Samurai Pork Burger, with its name we already know,

it will not launch in Malaysia =P

BBQ Rib Burger, the cashier told me it is pork.

The cashier only know to talk few english and mandarin words,

pork and "zhu" (猪) were the words that he kept telling me.

I bought some pies from there too.

Left hand side was the limited spinach pies,

and right hand side was corn and pineapple pies.

And one box of my favourite shrimp creamy instant noodles. =P

Levain

Levain Boulangerie Patisserie, a place that recommended by Vivian.

Here we were, after our GRE examination.

The purpose I'd been there - to have a try on the macaroon.

There are a lot of flavors.

I never try on macaroon before I went to Levain,

macaroon gave me the image of cute and colouful.

Yes, they are cute and colourful.

And, they are mini in size,

I never expected they are small in size.

We had tried on every flavor that available in Levain.

One bite on it, it was sweet, tried on others, sweet as well.

Even though they came with different flavors,

they were sweet indeed.

We had tried on others, they tasted nice.

The ambience of the restaurane is pleasant too.

In a nutshell, I like the restaurant.
Just a bit regret that I had not took more photos when I'd been there,

so no more photos to be shared here.

Taman Negara

One of the awesome trips- Taman Negara. It is located in Pahang, and we drove to there. It was happy to see the signboard shown the words, Taman Negara. But, it was still a long distance to reach. =D

We thought we almost reach, but in the end we were wrong.

We got cheated again, a long journey for us, drove in no end oil palm farm.

Thanks for the discovery of GPS, if not we probably get lost, and not able to get out from there, it is hard to meet others, and no petrol station around there.

And we were here luckily.

Our snacks =D

First day, nothing to do, as not much activities provided.

Planned for night jungle walk, but cancelled due to raining.

So, created our own activities. =P

Second day, crossed the river and reached the national park.

Started our adventure with jungle trekking and canopy walk.

We were brave, finished the longest canopy walk in the world. =)

A bit unbelievable,

does the canopy walk of our Taman Negara is the longest in the world?

We had our great time in the jungle, learned a lot from the tour guide.

The next adventure was rapid shooting. It was super great, and it was 100% wet.

Enjoyed the moment, and we stopped at somewhere to have a great jump into river.

Oh ya, do you see the floating boat behind us, we had our dinner on it once.

Night, went for our night jungle safari,

we changed the night jungle walk to night jungle safari,

as the night jungle walk is a bit similar with jungle trekking,

the only different-
it is at night.

3July2011- Visit to Cheng Woen's house and Sleven's birthday celebration

Finally we had a visit to our best friend, Cheng Woen's house. We have been friend for few years, we study together, we hang out together, and we come from same state, but I only went to her house on 2July2011, and she already moved into her new house. We, as her best friends, missed out her new house's party, and we had our own party at her house on that day. Recalled, when I reached her house, OMG, her car park area is so big, and we even estimated how many cars could be parked, and we got the result was EIGHT cars!! You may imagine how big is it right. Stepped into her house, OMG again, it is well designed and decorated, sparkled crystal luminaires, gorgeous wall papers, and selective furnitures. And I found her house has different kind of alcoholic beverages that I never seen before, and a huge Black Label catched my attention. =P

Planned to help Cheng Woen's mum for doing some preparation, at the end, we did nothing, except for eat and drink. And the right hand girl of her mum was Susian Kow, one of our best friends, also is the girlfriend of Cheng Woen's brother. She did a lots, and busy whole day. hehe..

Sleven's birthday is on 4 July, and we did the surprise for him, early celebration. He was in shock when Cheng Woen took the birthday cake toward him, and all of us sang the birthday song for him. He was happy, I know. =D

10,11,12 June 2011- Johor Bahru

Realising I am not putting blogging as part of my life as last time, I keep telling myself please update the blog, and it had been neglected again and again. Thus, I have made a decision, not to update my blog by weekly basis, no target for my posts, will only update depending on my feeling. It is because blogging is a happy thing, it may help to distress myself, if it become an obligation to me, it only would stress me instead of cheering me up. Happiness is important=P

To the point of this post,

A visit to Johor Bahru, offered by Freddy Hau, my housemate. Finally, we had been there, and the whole journey, food is the main attraction to us, so we kept eating in three days. =D

First day, reached Johor Bahru at night.

Had the popular keow teow kia as dinner, this is my first attempt on this food, I guess it is hard to get this food in KL and Kedah. It tasted good!!

After dinner, went to Danga Beach, place for family, couples and tourists. You can take your meal on ship, you can take a ride on the train, you can rent different kind of bicycles, such as bicylce for two person, three person, family, couple, with lighting, without lighting , but definitely the charge is not cheap too, count by minutes.

Second day,

Had a delicious breakfast as the start of journey.
Loitered in the city =)
Kept eating internal organs of pork, such as pork liver, pork brain, pork bag, pork kidney, pork skin, etc. First time to try so many parts of pork in one time.

We did visit to Desaru.

Impressed with this modified kancil, wished to drive it, but I did not have the chance =P

How do you think about this hotel? Lotus Desaru.

Our rented apartment, it has fours rooms ( I missed out to take photo on one of them), dry kitchen, dining room, living room and balcony. Not bad ermmm..=)

We had the activities in the bound of hotel, swimming, play water, shooting at beach, but did not play the water activities. The night scene of the hotel is beautiful, Desaru is a good place for relax, it attracts a lot of singaporians.

Third day,

Woke up early for the arrogant sunrise view, and we almost missed it because we took the wrong way to the beach.

I ain't a good photographer for landscape, I only know how to press the button of the camera, so no beautiful sunrise photo to share, but some photos with hilarious acts may prove I was there. =)

Group photo? No. There were two person busy on shooting the sunrise

After the sunrise view, back to hotel, got all the photos from one of professional photographer as he would leave Malaysia after lunch, and we headed to the famous Kiang Kee Bak Kut Teh. The restaurant located at rural place, surrounded by a lots of trees, but it won't stop the bak kut teh lover to go there. I had observed while waiting, most of them were Singaporian. Can I conclude that no nice food in Singapore, so they have to come to Malaysia for better food? =D

After the Bak Kut Teh, went back to Freddy's house, and continued our food hunting. Finally had the chance to try the laksa of Johor that they claimed is different from Penang laksa and it is really totally different, the laksa tasted like curry mee. Then tried the famous Pandan Beef Noodle (1st photo at right side), the following was the tongue of the duck (first time heard about it, and it was super delicious, I never know the tongue of the duck could be eaten =S), the next was kind of jawa mee, but it was malay food, forgot the name currently, and the left side was the otak otak.

How should I conclude this 3days 2 nights Johor Bahru trip? Erm, I will miss the food there, too delicious and hard to get in KL and Kedah, and must thank Freddy provided the chance for me to have a visit to JB, if not I don't know when I will only step on the territory of Johor. ^^

May 2011- happening month

I am getting lazier and lazier to update my blog. Recall, did the internship for three months, and finally done it on April. To be honest, learnt nothing much in tax department, but I am well trained to function the multipurpose machine, I could do printing, photocopy, scanning, filling, etc .As what they called, office boy/girl. This may happen because all of the projects are important, involved huge amount of money, and needed specialized knowledges I guess. Well, I admitted I am not competent to work in Transfer Pricing & Investigation (TPI)department, as before the internship I was not even know “transfer pricing” this term. So what I had done during intern? Except for those office girl’s works, I did research on companies, key in factsheets, benchmarking, but they are just the basic procedures for TPI. However, I had learned some philosophy that time; study is better than work, appreciate the free time, and play hard; all of these motivate me so much that time. Only applied for that time, now I am back to the original. =P

My seniors gave me as farewell presents

After my internship ended, I just had one week holiday that was definitely not enough for me, and started my second year of advance diploma on 9 May. I had experienced very happening scene. My car had punctured at the highway near Ipoh, it was my first time to drive long distance journey and it was my first time need to handle this situation with friends and brother. Luckily my brother was with me, and he fixed it with temporary tyre, if not, I wonder where can I get that energy to change the tyre. After that, we still went for dim sum as breakfast in Ipoh as planned, and certainly went for tyre shop, it is impossible to drive 80km/h back to Kuala Lumpur with the temporary tyre right?

My study life is hectic now, most of my classes will be ended at 4.30pm, 5pm and even 6pm. Those motivations that I got from internship gone time by time, back to original of me, lazy to do revision, skip classes sometimes, skip doing tutorial questions. Oh no, I must to change, and I will change, really!

Back to hometown again, on 27May with 13cups of Chatime milk tea, aggressive? =D Went back with the reason, to celebrate Mum’s birthday that on 30May. But in fact, no celebration, just simply had a reunion dinner, a birthday present- memory foam pillow and a birthday card. Another happening scene, I had a road accident on the way back to Kuala Lumpur. Four cars involved as emergency break at the fast lane, and my car was the second of them, it was too sudden, and unexpected. And all of us stuck at Sungai Petani, luckily Susian’s friend fetched us for dinner and we took bus back to Kuala Lumpur after that. To be mentioned here, the bus ticket showed 11.15pm, but we waited until 12.30pm only seen the bus coming, with a bit shock and a bit scary to see majority of passengers are foreign workers. Reached Kuala Lumpur at 7am, after shower directed went to 8am tutorial class. Exhausted.

After the march babies, what is the next? April babies? Sort of it. I have two best friends whom their birthday are on first of April which is April Fool Day. One of them is currently in Australia, and another one is in Sunway. So we only able to celebrate with the girl stays nearer to us. She is our lovely april girl, Angeline Tan. We had a plan to celebrate her birthday at Genting Highland. Since her birthday is on April Fool, so I had made a joke with her, I called her at 12midnight, not to tell her happy birthday, but I was sorry as all of us had to cancel the plan to Genting Highland with those stupid excuses, ziying had the exam, etc. Should I say I am the person that easy to convince others? I did a lot of mistakes in the conservation, and she still believed what I had said, ended up we burst out in laughter.

Working in weekdays and outing in weekends, occupied my currently life, and no much time to update the blog, even I wish to. A good excuse I think. Wish to update this post on 31March so at least it seems that I updates the blog twice in a month, but sometimes it is really not in my control, I was not success in uploading my photos due to unknown reason, a lesson to me which is don't always do things in last minutes, although I knew it a long long time ago, just only still haven't learn it well. As what the title mentioned, March babies, definitely describing those who born in March.

Gather, Eat and Gossip

Hi, I am back. No post on Bali trip temporarily, as my external harddisk got into trouble, I lost all of my Bali photos, but would update after get those photos from my friend. Luckily I still managed back to reality, back to this blog after Bali trip although it took quite a long time. *Blog had been neglected for 1 month*=D Bali trip was REALLY freaking awesome and full of funs. *shout =O* I miss the moment so much!! The moment was indescribable....... Okay, back to topic. Today, I would like to blog something about gathering, gathering after Bali trip before Chinese New Year. Gathering become one of our cultures, we (secondary school's friends)would gather at least once in a year. Result showed that we love to gather at Dou Mu Gong, take Dim Sum as breakfast. Nothing changes, only the date is different. Pity us, Alor Star is too small till no where can go.

Apparently, the number of people was decreasing. =(

I had always wanted a Betta a.k.a. fighting fish as my first pet, but often I can’t find the one that I like. Why Betta? First, I’m an animal phobia, especially cat (ailurophobia – this is what they called), but at least fish does not freak me out and it’s easy to take care of. Besides, Betta is a very tough and independent creature to me. This is something that I seriously need to strengthen on. Finally, I got my Betta but I didn’t get it by myself, someone gave me. I’m so happy and delighted to see my blue Betta swims in my room. =* (of cause, in the aquarium)

Zoo Negara

Finally finished my exam, and now is the time to play hard. Last time, Vivian and I ever thought to have a visit to the Zoo Negara that located in Ulu Klang which near to Taman Melawati, definitely near to Genting Kelang, Setapak as well. However, we never fufill this plan although we had been study in TARC for two years. Now, we had the chance to fulfill it, and even more approach to the animals than others in the zoo. We agreed to join the Zoo Negara Volunteer Programme under TARC on 13 January, a day after exam. Didn't bring the camera along because we went to the zoo as volunteer, not visitor. As a volunteer, we need to clean the home of animals and feed the animals, so it is better not to bring valueable things, I don't think that I able to look after my stuff while doing my works. So, the photos posted were taken by Vivian's handphone. For your information, I have the animal phobia, so it was quite challenging to help in zoo.

Zoo Negara Volunteer programme was carried out successful initially, however the raining around 2pm to 3pm was a stop for our works,but it was still an enjoyable experience, with a little bit tiring. =D In fact, we had a visit around the zoo besides being volunteer, we saved the RM20 entrance fee. One stone kills two birds, worthwhile programme. ^^

A new year is coming means current year is going to be passed. Count down is to greet the new year, or say bye bye to the current year? What have been done throughout this 2010 year? I will answer don't know if you ask me directly. Review the photo albums, reminisce every moment that belonged to me, I realised I had been experienced a lot. *1* I had lots of gathering with friends. Gathering links everyone together, it makes us become closer in order to strengthen our friendship. Hence, I like gathering, and wish to have more gathering. *2* I visited to somewhere that I never been there and ever been there. It is great to go everywhere and leave down your footprints. You may take a tons of photos to show off as well =P *3* I tried something that new for me, such as part time jobs, being helper in encore night, rock climbing, tried to make croquette & sugar coated fruit, tried on boardgames, joined pychological workshops, attended self-discovery group, and so on. Try on new things is a fun, as we will not know what will happen till the result is out, and we can learn something new during the process, it can be considered as a growth process in our life. Anything else, oh ya, *4* I had tried variety foods in variety restaurants or stalls. Live to eat, or eat to live? I choose both, I like to try on new foods, new foods may stimulate our taste buds and lick on the tantalizing aroma, it is really a wonderful experience. However, sometimes I eat because of hungry. Am I having capricious personality? perhaps. Wow, photo albums recall all my memories throughout the year, how amaze is it?! Otherwise, I will think that I done nothing throughout the year. Then, what is my wish/hope for the coming year? Don't know again. No planning, no target, no direction? I think I am lazy to think. Maybe, carry forward what had I done in this year, and bring forward in the coming year, this is what accouting students always done, bring forward and carry forward balance. =D

Scribble Drawing Workshop

Would like to share an interesting psychological workshop that I participated few weeks ago, it was scribble drawing workshop. This workshop was organised by TARC Counseling Society, and I found it via the advertising flyer and felt interested on it. It was kind of workshop that helping us to connect with ourself, helping us to listen the voice in our heart. Besides, don't worry if you are not good in art as it does not require any drawing skills or painting skills.

With the RM5 application fees, we had been provided the materials for the workshop. Materials included Buncho Oil Pastels, drawing paper, pen and papers. Curious on how the scribble drawing is? I would brief on the details of that day, so you guys may try your own if you want to without attending the workshop.

First, the facilitator who is counsellor of TARC, Ms Evelyn prepared a comfortable environment for us by burning the lavendar essence, setting an optimum temperature and playing soft music.

Second, she let us to enjoy and feel the environment by meditation.

Third, we were ordered to choose a color among the oil pastels and gave 10seconds to scribble the drawing paper. What is scribble? Scribble is to write or draw in a hurried careless way, meaningless marks and lines. It is sort of random, without planning or thinking, and simply draw it. We needed to stop the scribble once the 10 seconds end.

Then, it came to important section. After the scribble, we needed to observe on our own scribble in different angles. We might stand and look on the drawing or put it far far away and look on it. Not just simply use the eyes to see, look, observe; but use the heart to look on the drawing. What is the first thing come out from your mind? What is the scribble look like? What is your thought during the process?

After that, use any colors you like to make your next drawing, the drawing might object or abstract, and needed to paint the whole drawing paper.

Lastly, gave a title for the drawing, wrote down the thoughts, the feelings, share the reasons behind the drawing. We were requested to speak out in a small group, but everything that shared were promised to keep in private and confidential.

This was Ms Evelyn, she shared her own drawings and explained the reasons on her drawings to us before end of the workshop.

These were the drawings from participants who did not want to take back. These drawings were kept by another counsellor who claimed that looking on those drawings would bring him energy. So I took the chance to request him to let me took some photos on his collection that day.

The drawing that I like the most. The owner of this drawing was a guy. He was same group with me. After listening to his own briefing on the drawing, I felt he was the person good in planning and organising, and he had the sense of art. However, he told us he bad in drawing, so I guess his drawing gene haven't excavate yet.

Second part

These were my drawing, it could be interpreted into two parts. I did not know what would you see on my drawings, it was sort of object yet abstract. I named this drawing as moon, swans and turtle. From the first and second part, I think it might easily to see the moon. Moon in my drawing represented I waiting the morning twilight in the night. The first part of it consisted swans. A big swan (blue in color) and a baby swan (orange in color). Big swan represented pure, and baby swan represented some part of mine did not willing to grow older as it meant I was tied with lots of responsibilities. The second part of it consisted turtle. Brown color as the head of turtle, green color as the shell. The turtle in the drawing meant I did works in slow motion, to be mentioned, I was the last person done the drawing in workshop. However, no matter how slow am I, if the result is satisfying, it is worth.

Last but not least, I would like to share the thoughts of mine in mandarin. The article was written after the drawing, so it was my initial thoughts and feelings, and it was even more details.

月亮，天鹅与乌龟
我是个固执的人，不懂什么是抽象，所以一直在抽象的线条之中摸索，希望找出具体的图案。有那时刻，觉得自己怎么那么复杂，画了那么大堆，想象方面的难度就增加了。一堆乱糟糟的涂鸦，确实难让人想象出具体的画面。不过，就是不肯放弃的去寻找，我对自己说，我就是要找出具体的画面，这应该是固执的象征吧；鱼，是我近期想要养的宠物；所以心中想只一条鱼，希望可以在这乱线中可以拼出一条鱼。转来转去，始终无法把鱼和那些涂鸦联系起来，真的很不服气。在要气馁的那一刻，我看见了月亮，接着是天鹅，再来是乌龟。这下难倒我了，我该涂什么呢? 我该涂月亮呢，还是天鹅，或者是乌龟？不管涂上哪一个都有可能使到另一个无法展现。想啊想啊真的没有什么头绪，算了，就随便吧，见步行步。先为月亮上色，再来天鹅。在天鹅的空格里涂上白色，第一想法告诉我，涂白色好像没上到色，那我应该用蓝色来点缀，把白色与蓝色混合，应该会很漂亮吧。这让我忆起小时候的事情；儿童时期，妈妈让我上画画班，由于是初学者，所以先学上色，老师让我们自由发挥，而我就用白色为主，每一个地方都有白色与其他颜色混合，上完色，很满意的让老师看，结果却挨骂，老师说哪有人用白色上色的，而我也因此感到伤心及自卑，信心受创，应该是那时候开始吧，渐渐不喜欢上画画班，后来也放弃了，当然放弃的原因也包括其他因素，就是没耐心把一幅画完成，而且自己也没有什么想象力、创意，画出来的都是不可爱不美丽。没想到在这涂鸦过程中可以勾起我的回忆，不过在不被逼的情况下，我还是喜欢画画，庆幸自己曾经学画画，所以还可以上出不错的颜色。回归正题，在涂上白色的时候，我发觉其实还有另一只天鹅依偎着我正在涂着的天鹅，我把它称为小天鹅。为了让两只天鹅可以展现出来，我用橙色与白色为小天鹅上色。在上色的过程中，我尽量与刚才涂鸦的线条保持距离，因为我不想我原本的线条被破坏，也许那些线条还可以看出些什么的。两只天鹅上完色后，就把天鹅下的空格图上绿色，当着是叶子吧。还有两大空格没上色，转过来看，该涂上什么颜色才不会破坏我的月亮天鹅图案呢，却让我想不到的是，我一样还可以看到那只乌龟。就这样把我自己认为是龟头龟脚的空格涂上褐色，在上色当中，已有许多人已经完成他们的画了，而我却才涂到一半，不禁觉得我做东西和乌龟一样慢，耽误了其他人的时间，因为还有分享的阶段，不过没办法，难倒要乱涂，我才不想，所以还是不管其他人认真的上色。上完空格里的色，就剩空格外的，为了突出我的重点，选择用黑色包围着，然后用深蓝配上去，再来一点点的黄。不过后来，因为过于慢，被老师催了，后面部分只好用蓝色掠过。而其实整个颜色的选择都是有它背后的故事。我觉得整个画里，每一个画面图案都可以代表着我；月亮总是在黑暗中出现，就像我在黑暗中期待着曙光的到来；大天鹅是以蓝白为主，对我而言它是纯净的，就像我那样希望每天都可以那么简简单单的过，没烦恼没忧愁；小天鹅呢，就让我联想到人越是长大，越不想长大，希望保留那一分的依靠，长大就无法再依靠着父母，什么事情都要自己承担，多么想自己可以像小天鹅保留着那份依偎；至于乌龟，刚才提起就是速度慢，不过我认为如果可以得到一个自己满意的结局，慢是值得的；整幅画中，被黑色包环着，就视乎暗示着我陷在黑暗当中，拼命的挣扎，希望可以找出一片天明，对，现在的我，仍然处于黑暗中，努力的寻找自我，寻找目标，寻找生命的意义。

Unsuccessful sugar-coated fruits

Love the sugar-coated fruits so much but each stick of them may cost around RM3 - RM 4. So I wish to do my own sugar-coated fruits, which are cheaper in cost and I can enjoy them as many as possible.

The ingredients of the sugar-coated fruits

normally are seedless grape, tomato, satay stick, lump sugar

and I thinking to do some special sugar-coated fruits with apple and pear

So bad, I couldn't find strawberry in Carrefour, perhaps is out of stock

soak the tomato for a while

as well as the grape

apple and pear

string them together using satay sticks

The most important process, cook the sugar.
Theoretically, cook the sugar with water in the ratio 2:1.
Do not stir it while cooking.
Let them melt, boil, turn yellowish,
coat the fruit with the sugar,
cool them, and done.

Coat the grape and and tomato with the sugar that I think it is ready
They are brownish, OMG it is something wrong
Taste one of them, it is bitter
This means the sugar is overcooked,
so it turns bitter and brownish =/

Don't know what to do with the hot cooked sugar,
so pour it in the stainless steel plate
and cook the another pack of sugar
Hope it will be succeeded

Apparently they seem succeed, but the sugar is not yellowish,
and they are so sticky till the sugar will stick on the teeth
FAIL again =(
I don't know what is the exact problem,
maybe the ratio of sugar and water is not accurate as I just simply estimate them
or the sugar is not ready and I am too fast to remove it from the stove
Now I believed theory can't make success
success only will be achieved with many tries and practices
but we need to fail at the first =(

It is so difficult to remove from the plate as it is cooled,
I soak it with hot water for many times
Suffer in washing and removing the stain of sugar (><)

20th birthday celebration

OMG, I am getting lazier and lazier to update my blog (><), and now I only want to post about my birthday celebration after a week from my birthday. Had a great birthday this year with accompanied of birthday wishes in facebook and surprise from my brother and friends. Back from Penang in the afternoon, Vivian was not at home, called my brother but he seemed busy and ignored me. Ok, thought I was going to pass my birthday alone with watching drama. While I still indulging in the drama, a loud knocking sound came from back, I opened the door, Vivian closed my lamp without my notice and a birthday cake was in front me. It was really shock, and I was not able to react in short time. It was really a happy moment. But I was not able to post those photos up to here as I still have yet to collect from Vivian.

After the surprise, we went to i-city and had our late dinner in the Tasty Pot BBQ Steamboat. This Tasty Pot BBQ Steamboat is the branch of Sunway Tasty Pot BBQ Steamboat. Forgot to take the shop's photo, it was raining that time. Everyone busy on choosing the soup, and I was the one who was so free and take photos around. Birthday girl always is the KING. =D

It is buffet and it has variety of ingridients.

You can take as much as you can, just don't waste the food.

my "first" times

I experienced many "first" times after exam but before back to hometown. First of September, went to Taman Pertanian Malaysia with classmates, and the activity had been updated in previous post.

We visited some places, had a walk and cycling there. Thinking go for skytrek next time which offered by the Taman Pertanian too, it looks challenging and fun.

Second, visited to matt air? should be matta fair, the "t" and "f" had been blocked. Everyone should be familiar with it, think of vacation, matta fair will provide a reasonable price. However, 4th September was the first time I visited it, and I just knew it needed entrance fee which is RM3 per person, I thought the entry of matta fair is free of charge last time.

We could get a recycle bag that printed by matta fair after paying the RM3.

There was some information about travelling and promotion inside the bag.

My purpose went to matta fair is to collect the information about Bali, Indonesia. I have a plan to Bali with friends next year, and searching for the price of package and schedule for Bali. At last, we did not buy any package in matta fair, as it seems not much cheaper with market price.

After the visit to the matta fair, I have a very strong desire go for travelling. However, this desire need lots of money. So give myself a promise, work hard next time, and travel as much as I can =D

Third, went to BookFest on 7th September.

Yeah, it was my first time, and I went there alone. Not I want to be alone, but I don't know who could I invite, almost all of my friends back to hometown, left me alone stayed in KL. To kill my time, so I was there. BookFest needed entrance fee too, RM2 per person cheaper than matta fair. Besides, it had an entry ticket for 9days of bookfest costs RM12, might save RM6. After I bought the entry ticket, I got this bookfest catalogue. This catalogue contains the schedule of bookfest, promotion of book, stationery, CD, VCD and so on.

I bought two disc with the price of RM29.90 after the visit. Music which can adjust the mood and feeling. Perhaps they are work, with the soft tune, they might able to calm our thought.

To be ashamed, I did not buy any book. It is a bad habit, I know. I will try to change it, try to make myself love reading, but it need time to change, so buy the book on next bookfest. =D

Watched this movie after the BookFest visit. Old cow vs tender grass, a comedy movie. I ain't talking this was the first time I watch movie in cinema, but it was my first time to watch movie alone in cinema. The ticket seller even double confirm with me when I said one. Nice experience.

Incidentally, I had my first two meals alone at outside on that day too. Maybe it is ridiculous, there is not a big deal to have meal alone, but yes, this was my first time to have the meal alone at outside, as normally I would only have my meal alone at home. But after that, I think I would be braver, because I found it is not so uneasy to take meal alone at outside.

I just realised I experienced a lot "first times" in such short period after back to hometown, so here am I to blog about them =D

Compact activities after exam

Exam ended on 30th August, my holiday started, and I am so happy even though I know I did not do well in my tax paper. Had an evening rest, then started my busy activities. Went to count down in Dataran Merdeka. Anticipated for the beautiful fireworks.

Finally, we reached Dataran Merdeka, and the crowd was mainly Malays. You can see many motorcyclists there, they seem to be like mat rempit. You can barely spot any non-malay.

Sultan Abdul Samad Building was sparkling with all those colorful lights. The colours of the lights changed from time to time, it can be purple, blue, pink, red, etc. While waiting for the fireworks, could see the mat rempit made noise from their motorcycle. To my great surprised, there was no authority stand out to control the situation. There were tourists watching. What a shame.

Unfortunately, our high anticipation on the count down of Indepedence Day changed into dust. There was no fireworks, even one also couldn't be seen. We back with disappointment, and I was so unlucky, got a bird drop while walking back to the car. My excited feeling totally gone. *Sigh*

Zi Ying's birthday is 22th August. We as her best friends couldn't celebrate with her on that day, as our exam was near the corner. So, Vivian and me gave her a surprise when she came to stay overnight at our house.

Overtime in the Sunway Giza.

Ovetime sell Starker, the first unveiled fresh beer in Malaysia.

The Starker gained the gold medal winner in Asia Beer Award 2010.

Starker had Aromatic and Lager.

And we were here, this beer would be on our desk for sure =D We tried the Starker Lager, neither half pint, nor one pint, but one barrel. The Starker Lager is tasted good compared to other beers, like it, and highly recommended.

The barrel was so cute, we liked it so much. If possible, I hope can bring it back, but it is impossible.

We were not get drunk, really!! We just want to make something crazy and happy =P

After overtime, we went to mamak stall, and again continue our funny and crazy acting =D

Our class had a plan after exam, our destination was Taman Pertanian which located at Shah Alam. But slightly imperfection as just only six of us joined it, so I invited Zi Ying to join us, she put this activity priority rather than attending the class, means she skipped class and joined us. =P

Skipped all the places in the Taman Pertanian, and we went cycling. Cycling make us tired. End up we only cycle for half an hour. ><

Had a dinner in Kajang. My brother told me it is famous restaurant, and recommend the spicy meat. Restaurant Kee V. Kiwi? =P It had its own facebook group too, wow, a restaurant that catch up the facebook trend. O;O

Our dinner: vegetables, steamed fish with soy bean paste, hot soup and the spicy meat.

After our dinner, we went to the famous Kajang Satay. Restoran Sate Kajang Hj. Samuri is the famous restaurant, it has three floor,means it has lots of customers? Perhaps.

It has various type of satay, those normal are chicken, beef, beef tripe, chicken liver and fish ; those special are mutton, rabbit and venison. Between, it is self-service.

Our satay, couldn't ordered much as we just finished our dinner.

We ordered chicken, venison and rabbit satay. The chicken satay tasted good, venison so so, and first time took the rabbit satay, it tasted sweet, quite nice. But I didn't like the satay sauce.

Besides, this restaurant had lots of antique, we just took some photos.

After those activities, plan to get more, but God kidding with me again, my plans all stuck, so stayed at home before I back to the sweet hometown, those days alone in KL really tortured me. Wake up, eat, watch drama, sleep. Bored life. Luckily they were passed and now I am back to my hometown, enjoying my holidays. =D

He went to Pulau Redang in June2010, but the souvenirs were only reached us today, took 2 month time ==" I wonder, is it the souvenirs deliver from Terengganu to KL by cycling XP Anyway, thank you so much, at least he still will remember us sometimes.

I only have two subjects to test in this semester. It is a relax exam compared to others who going to test 4 or 5 subjects. However, sometimes, even it should be glad, I still will have a small complaining.

Still do not revise this English for Management.

Last day of my exam, and might able to celebrate Merdeka Day at night.
Taxation, a complicated subject which full of deduction, exemption, sections, etc.

Concluded, must memorise, must know calculation, must know theory.

Study is boring.

Astro Star Quest 2010

This was the Astro Star Quest that held last month. Never think I would be there till Cheng Woen invited us (Vivian, Zi Ying, my brother and me). I seldom{never} watch this Astro event as had no Astro. So, very obviously I did not know who was going to the final even though I had been there. Anyway, thanks Cheng Woen invited me, I never attend or join this kind of event last time, so it was fresh and great experience in my life. It was my first time. Wohoho~ There were lot of supporters, and we supported Stephanie =D

We were a bit late to reach there as we can't find the venue. We missed out the opening ceremony and strategic seats. We sat at the front but corner, although it might not so strategic, at least we could watch those people on the stage clearly. Between the lighting system was great, atmosphere of this event was getting hotter and hotter.

The performance of Stephanie. She is young and sweet, the first impression of mine. Her voice is attractive, as what Cheng Woen told us, she is good in singing. Thus, when it was her turn, we were applauding by the top of clapping and cheering.

The judges in front of the stages. You guys might know them but I am not. Apologize for my shallow knowledges. I only able to recognise two of them which were Nicholas Teo and Yoga Lin.

Now, we knew what would happen when the programme went into time of advertisement. They would clean the stage immediately without wasting any seconds. Efficient!! =P

Definitely, we won't miss the moment of camwhoring. This is the way to keep the memories and to show we are there. Happy+ing when looked on these photos. Sweet moments with you guys.

After the third place winner is announced, the we were waiting for who will be the champion. Again, the event never come out the new ideas, when the most exciting moment came, then went into advertisement. Then it only would announce after the advertisement. Stephanie and Yi Po went into the final stage. It really make us nervous, hope the champion would be her. But it was a bit disappointed after we knew Yi Pi got five voting against Stephanie. At the positive view, it was happy as Stephanie got second place winner.

After the ending of Astro Star Quest, took photo with the big poster. Although the event was ended, but there was still crowded. Most of them took photos with participants that not in finalist, and some of them just same as us took the photos among themselves. We supported Stephanie, so must wear PINK color shirt. I just realised I can't even find a pink color shirt in my wardrobe, Vivian as well. So we borrowed from Cheng Woen, as she said she bought the T-shirt of Stephanie Fans Club. I had no time to find a place to change the clothes so just wear Cheng Woen's pink dress directly. But Zi Ying wore red shirt, at last Cheng Woen was not able to get her T-shirt on time too. As a conclusion, we can't be pink in a team. *sigh*

It is indeed a fun place for entertainment. Maybe you guys will wonder, what kind of this cafe is. It provides board games as main service, some snacks and beverages.

Most of them are imported from Singapore, Korea, Italy, Taiwan, China and Hong Kong. It will bring in more broad games from different countries in future. I knew, these photo had been posted in facebook, and might be viewed for few times, but I still would like to blog about it even though it was a bit late. =P I don't hope that I might miss out some happy moments in my life, so blog them is the best way to help me recall in one day. This post is talking about Barbeque session with my advance diploma classmates, Group 17. It can be considered as the first date of our class, just two classmates didn't join us due to some reasons.

OMG, just realised this blog had been neglected for three weeks. For those always follow my blog, I am appreciate and felt sorry for no new update recently. I started the first semester of advance diploma in May, and having a very enjoyable college life. I got new friends, very friendly classmates. I am overwhelmed with outing and socializing, and some procrastination, so this blog is not updated on time. ><

Hennessy Loh Mee

Do you ever hear about Hennessy Loh Mee? The first time I heard about it, I found it was special with its name, so definitely would have a sense to try on it. It is hard to imagine how Hennessy Loh Mee would be. Ethan who told me about it, suggested went for a try as it is near to my place, Genting Kelang. It is located at Food Court of Ayer Panas. To be honest, even it is near to my place, I never know where is it, just roughly knew Ayer Panas will be reached if you use the road beside the Pizza Hut. Luckily I had a GPS phone that might guide us. However, the GPS brought us to somewhere, an open ground!! Stunned at the moment, when the GPS told us we reached the destination. Is it the food court moved? or the GPS map was inaccurate? or the GPS map was not updated? Lots of possibilities came across my mind. However, we still able to be smarter than the GPS, we have mouth, so surely must fully utilised it, ask the residents, and we found the food court was just beside the open ground. Then I got a conclusion, the GPS map pointed it wrongly. Nevertheless, I had another conclusion after I searched online, I guess the food court was moved as I found some photos were different with the food court that I went. GPS was not able to update its map so soon.

By the way, I had a memorable moment with friends, waiting for next outing..^^
